Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park,

located in the northern part of Tanzania is one of the most famous wildlife parks in the world. Established in 1951, here you will find the big five of Africa (Lions, Leopards, Rhinoceros, Elephants, & Bufffalo).

But don’t think that is all you will see. Hundreds of other animals, birds and aquatic life specifies inhabit this incredible eco system - totally amazing.

The National Park is home to approximately 500 bird species - some resident and others migratory. This park is a birdwatchers paradise. I’m sharing a few. I don’t know the names of them, but got close enough to get some interesting photographs.

Leopards

are one of the most beautiful animals to photograph. Living solitaire lives, they only get together to mate. The females will have their cubs with them for two years. The males in these photos have found some Acacia trees to rest and get out of the hot afternoon sun.
